Practitioner Certificate in Software Asset Management (PCSAM) Training Course
An ISEB accredited software asset management (SAM) training course oriented heavily to practical exercises and aimed at those who wish to gain practical experience in the key SAM lifecycle activities.
This 5 day BCS/ISEB accredited course which prepares delegates to sit and pass the Practitioner Certificate in Software Asset Management examination makes full use of both the current best practice, such as the SAM module within IT Infrastructure Library (ITILv3), and the ISO 19770-1 Standard. The training course utilises several practical exercises to provide delegates with extensive hands-on experience of all the key components of implementing SAM. The PCSAM examination, which is held quarterly, comprises of 5 questions based on a scenario. The pass mark is 60% and a distinction mark is set at 80%.
This PCSAM qualification represents a major benchmark in measuring the skills of software asset management professionals. It addresses the 6 key areas of the SAM lifecycle:
