Practitioner Certificate in Information Risk Management (PCIRM) Training Course
An ISEB accredited risk management training course oriented heavily to practical exercises (accounting for 70% of the training week).
This 5 day BCS/ISEB accredited course which prepares delegates to sit and pass the Practitioner Certificate in Information Risk Management examination makes full use of current international standards such as the ISO 27001 Information Security Standard. The information risk management training course utilises practical exercises to provide delegates with extensive hands on experience of all the key components of conducting risk assessments. The PCIRM training course culminates on the final afternoon with an examination (questions on a scenario plus separate multi choice and short answer questions).
This PCIRM qualification represents a major bench mark in measuring the skills of information risk management professionals. It addresses risk management from an independent perspective and provides delegates with a comprehensive overview of the key phases of risk assessment and will assist even seasoned practitioners with its structured approach to the subject.
Having sat the Practitioner Certificate in Information Risk Management training course, delegates will be able to return to their organisation and make a significant contribution to the risk management process.
