CISMP Training Course - What to expect
5 Day residential course
In line with the requirements of BCS's ISEB, 40 hours of information security training (including a 2 hour exam on Friday afternoon) are provided by URM during the 5 days of the course.
The Certificate in Information Management Principles course comprises a mixture of PowerPoint presentations, discussions, Q&A sessions, exercises, walkthroughs of worked examples and mock exams.
Training Material
Delegates who attend URM's CISMP course will receive a training pack containing copies of all course slides. With each slide URM's consultants have supplied supporting notes (approved by the BCS ISEB) that act both as a useful revision tool for the ISEB examination and post course reference material. A CD is also provided that contains a wealth of security documentation, worked examples, a listing of useful web sites and sample documents such as Access Control, Internet Access and Email policies.
Course Venue
A dedicated residential training centre in Bedfordshire is used for all public schedule, information security, business continuity and risk management training courses. URM believe such a venue provides the ideal distraction-free environment for both an intensive and stimulating learning experience. Ideas and thoughts can be shared, not only with course trainers, but with other like-minded security professionals during classroom time and outside hours whilst socialising in relaxed surroundings.
