Training Services
Ultima Risk Management (URM) is one of the UK's leading training providers in the areas of information security and governance, business continuity, risk management and data protection.
Central to URM's portfolio of courses are those accredited by British Computer Society Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB) including:
- 5 day 'Certificate in Information Security Management Principles' (CISMP)
- 5 day 'Practitioner Certificate in Information Risk Management' (PCIRM)
- 5 day 'Practitioner Certificate in Business Continuity Management' (PCBCM)
- 3 day 'Certificate in Software Asset Management Essentials'
URM runs a public schedule for all of the above courses which are typically held at a specialist residential training centre in Bedfordshire. Each course prepares delegates to take and pass an ISEB examination (either on the last afternoon of the course or at a later date at an ISEB testing site).
URM is also licenced by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) to deliver the:
- 5 day 'Understanding BCM Principles and Good Practice' which can be taken as a whole or as a series of 1 day modules.
Data protection is an area of particular expertise for URM and one in which the company runs half day seminars (in conjunction with FAST) public 1 day courses and closed workshops for public and private sector organisations.
