Business Continuity Risk Assessment
With the recent emergence of the BS 25999 Business Continuity Standard organisations can certify their Business Continuity Management System to the industry standard. The key requirement of this Standard is completing a risk assessment of all of its critical activities. URM has developed a flexible software product that helps organisations achieve this requirement.
The risk assessment must follow the BS 25999 Standard’s requirements of:
- Identifying threats and vulnerabilities
- Documenting the associated impacts and likelihood
- Establishing and maintain a register of the risks
- Documenting risk treatment actions
- Reviewing the risk assessment regularly.
