"Excellent course which fulfilled all my expectations and will assist greatly in carrying out my role effectively."
PCIRM Course, June 2010This 5 day course which prepares delegates to sit and pass the Practitioner Certificate in Information Risk Management (PCIRM) examination makes full use of current international standards such as the ISO 27001 Information Security Standard as well as ISO 27005:2008 and ISO Guide 73:2009. The information risk management training course utilises practical exercises to provide delegates with extensive hands on experience of all the key components of conducting risk assessments. The PCIRM training course culminates on the final afternoon with an examination (questions on a scenario plus separate multi choice and short answer questions).
URM’s PCIRM Course has also been accredited by the Institute of Information Security Professionals (IISP). The meaning of IISP accreditation is that the Institute has assessed the course materials and methodologies and determined that it meets its stated objectives. Furthermore, it has verified that the course meets the claimed competency level against IISP's skills matrix.
Having sat the PCIRM training course, delegates will be able to return to their organisation and make a significant contribution to the risk management process.
URM can also provide this course on client sites, and has a successful track record in delivering high quality training with presenters who are active practitioners.
"In respect of content, presentation, and the knowledge acquired this is one of the best courses I have been on."
