How BS 25999, the Business Continuity Management Standard, can improve your business resilience

FREE half day seminar in Manchester

Launched in 2007, BS 25999 has established itself as the 'de facto' model for Business Continuity Management (BCM) and is regarded as the ideal framework for those organisations looking to increase their business resilience.

Continued operations in the event of a disruption, whether due to a major disaster or a minor incident, is a fundamental requirement for any organisation. Recent severe weather, flu-related illnesses and a challenging economic climate have resulted in increasing pressure to review and develop a business continuity response to manage such disruptions and events.

This joint British Standards Institution (BSI) / Ultima Risk Management (URM) seminar will demonstrate, through real world case studies, how BS 25999 (and the forthcoming International Standard) can improve business resilience. Seminar attendees will also learn how to achieve certification, whilst avoiding the pitfalls.
