URM's Information Security (ISO 27001) and Business Continuity (ISO 22301) Events

Overview

Ultima Risk Management (URM) holds seminars focusing on its key areas of expertise, namely information security and business continuity. The half day seminars are usually held in conjunction with industry leading bodies such as British Standards Institution and are intended to provide practical and 'real life' insights into how best to comply and certify with Standards such as ISO 27001 (International Information Security Management Standard) and ISO 22301 (new International Business Continuity Management Standard). Seminars typically adopt a case study approach so organisations are able to avoid pitfalls by learning from the experiences of peer organisations. The events are free to attend.

In addition, URM holds ad hoc events and workshops in conjunction with other industry bodies.

In 2011 and 2012, URM was selected by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) to co-develop and facilitate a series of BCM workshops on subjects such as Supply Chain Continuity, Incident Communications and Exercise Planning.
