BS 10012: A NEW AND UNIQUE STANDARD IN DATA PROTECTION.
WHAT IS IT, WHY WAS IT CREATED AND HOW CAN IT HELP YOU TO
IMPROVE COMPLIANCE WITH DATA PROTECTION LEGISLATION.
FREE Half Day Seminar in Reading

For many organisations, compliance with data protection legislation and good practice is seen as complex, challenging and confusing. In June 2009 British Standards Institution (BSI) with the support of the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) launched the first Standard of its type specifying a personal information management system (PIMS). The objective of introducing a new management system Standard is to assist organisations from both the public and private sectors to improve compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and adopt good business practice.
