URM's Information Security (ISO 27001), Business Continuity (BS 25999) and Data Protection Events

Ultima Risk Management holds quarterly seminars focusing on its key areas of expertise, namely information security, business continuity and data protection. The half day seminars are usually held in conjunction with industry leading bodies such as British Standards Institution and FAST and are intended to provide practical and ‘real life’ insights into how best to comply and certify with Standards such as ISO 27002 (information security) and BS 25999 (business continuity) and comply with legislation such as the Data Protection Act. Seminars typically utilise a case study approach so organisations are able to avoid pitfalls by learning from the experiences of peer organisations. The events are free to attend (nominal fee for FAST Data Protection Events).

In addition, Ultima Risk Management holds ad hoc events and workshops in conjunction with other industry bodies. e.g. The Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy (CIPFA).
